Recently, Far East Battery successfully delivered its first airport energy storage project, achieving smooth grid connection and operation. The implementation of this project marks a significant breakthrough for Far East Battery in the green energy sector and continues to support the sustainable energy development of Xining Caojiapu International Airport. Its successful execution holds great significance for optimizing the airport’s energy structure and advancing low-carbon development.

Xining Caojiapu International Airport, the largest international airport on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has strong demands for the economy, reliability, and stability of its power supply. To meet these requirements, Far East Battery provided its high-safety, long-life, and high-efficiency 108kW/215kWh standard liquid-cooled outdoor integrated cabinet solution. After project delivery, the Far East Battery energy storage system can operate intelligently in coordination with the photovoltaic (PV) system—storing surplus solar power when the airport’s load cannot fully absorb PV generation. Additionally, by leveraging local peak and off-peak electricity periods, the system performs peak-shaving and valley-filling functions, alleviating grid regulation pressure, optimizing power resource allocation, enhancing renewable energy utilization, and improving the overall return on investment for the integrated energy project.

The Far East Battery 108kW/215kWh standard liquid-cooled outdoor integrated cabinet incorporates self-developed and in-house manufactured power electronic battery packs. Through pack-level monitoring and fault isolation mechanisms, it provides comprehensive protection for energy storage safety, ensuring system reliability and stability. Moreover, the product employs an innovative topology design that optimizes both unit dimensions and efficiency. Compared to conventional industry energy storage solutions, it delivers higher energy density, lower levelized cost of electricity (LCOE), and reduced footprint.
Throughout the delivery process, Far East Battery consistently prioritized customer needs, establishing a full-lifecycle, multi-phase service system covering R&D, design, procurement, manufacturing, and pre- and post-delivery stages. This approach continuously enhances product design capabilities and delivery quality, contributing to the project’s successful grid connection.
Looking ahead, Far East Battery will remain customer-centric, supported by strong innovation capabilities and backed by vast market demand. The company will build a more diversified product portfolio and continue delivering professional energy storage products and services—creating value for customers and society while contributing Far East’s strength to the global energy transition and sustainable development.
